volunteers

Organisation
GVA is completely reliant upon a dedicated team of volunteers committed to our vision, goals and values.

Whilst we strive to provide an excellent club experience, we also have day jobs and are doing what we do for the love of the game, so please be patient if things are not perfect. If there's something we can do to make your experience more enjoyable, or if you would like to join our team please have a chat to one of our friendly committee members.

Child Safety
All committee members, coaches and administrators within our Organisation must abide by GVA's Child & Youth Risk Management Strategy, which includes:
  • Holding a Blue Card for working with children (or valid exemption)
  • Completing online training, and
  • Reporting through appropriate channels any suspicion of child abuse they form in the course of their duties
